Hard Rock Bahrain Coffee Cup
I can't say that I was too thrilled to go to Bahrain back in 2008 while we were in the middle of two wars in the Middle East, but Bahrain was a really cool place to see. As you can tell by the picture, they even have a Hard Rock Café! The people there were incredibly nice and the food was great! Gets a bit warm in the summer though. Temps over 120 degrees, and when the wind kicks up you get to feel what it's like to be in a sandblaster. But I went there twice for a total of about three weeks and I would love to go back!
Hell Michigan Coffee Cup
Hell is a little community about 15 miles NW of Ann Arbor. Not sure why it's called Hell. I don't remember it being exceptionally hot or torturous. In fact it was a cool place from what I remember. So, in the words of Bon Scott, Hell ain't a bad place to be.
500 Million Mark Stamp
If you think prices are bad here, how 'bout 500 million German marks for a postage stamp! I don't know the exchange rate back then, but when I was stationed in Europe the rate was two marks per dollar, so perhaps mailing a letter was only about $250,000,000? Still seems a bit excessive to me.
